Do you know the conditions under which the guarantee of dental treatments performed in analgesia is granted?
Analgesia creates comfortable conditions of operating for the dental team but especially for the patient. The intervention rehabilitates the aesthetics and the functions of mastication or speech in a spectacular way – in a one-day surgery – and that is why they are spectacular most of the time!
Many patients (or their families) imagine that they can’t do anything more after the operation. However, the prognosis and long-term maintenance of the results obtained by the treatments in the block operator depend on the following conditions.
CONDITIONS FOR GUARANTEEING THE TREATMENT OF CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS PATIENTS CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS IN ANALGOSED CONDITIONS.
Children and teenagers – whose young teeth mature and posteruptively (ie young teeth complete their maturation even after erupting in the oral cavity) have a particular vulnerability to tooth decay (they are more easily affected). Fortunately, young tooth enamel has a 10 times greater capacity than adult tooth enamel to absorb minerals (Ca, PO4, Fluorine) from the oral environment and to repair itself.
Due to the influence of oral hygiene and diet on the process of cariogenesis (in the absence of caryoprotective minerals and nutrients) and/or dental remineralization (in the beneficial presence of minerals and protective nutrients) these factors must be taken into account when guaranteeing and avoiding the occurrence of other new cavities.
All treatments require regular checks and proper maintenance.
To benefit from free corrections during the warranty period, these conditions must be met by complying with all of the following recommendations:
01. Dental hygiene at home: Strict compliance to evening oral hygiene through techniques and using toothpaste with a correct concentration in Fluorine presented by us. Dental floss is part of the brushing technique.
02. Periodic inspections and free appropriate maintenance for one year: Periodic check-ups and further training on techniques and hygiene methods following analgesic treatments in the form of four free visits/ once every 3 months after analgesia treatment or general anesthesia.
03. Diet low in sugar but rich in nutrients such as: High-quality protein from meat (beef, pork, chicken, fish), Calcium (egg, cheese, sour cream yogurt), Fluorine (pork, grapefruit, grapes, or sardines), in anti decay substances from berries, stimulating salivary secretion by chewing whole fruits (a sliced or whole apple) or a raw/ carrot per day.
04. Discontinuation of any form of feeding through suction (breastfeeding, bottle feeding, etc.) is preferred before intervention (feeding is forbidden on the night before analgesia).
Although:
A. In case of compliance with all the recommendations from above and the occurrence of defects or cracks in the reconstructions performed by us, HappyDent Clinic takes full responsibility for repairing them (during the first year after the date of intervention in the 4 periodic inspections).
B. In the event of defects occurred after falls, play, or sports injuries, HappyDent Clinic does not take any responsibility for repairs under the warranty.
C. In the event of failure to comply with these rules and if serious dental damage – hygiene or nutritional – is found, the guarantee can no longer be offered and eligibility for future free treatments under the warranty period can no longer be granted.
With respect to the dental health of our children!
