Chewing gum with Xylitol – an accessory in parental dental hygiene!
Advice for parents – good for children!
Do you know that parental hygiene and dental health help prevent their children’s dental caries?
Do you know that chewing gum with xylitol contributes to the dental hygiene of parents similarly to toothpaste and toothbrush (whether manual or ultrasonic)?

Thus, in Finland, children whose mothers used chewing gum with Xylitol twice a day for two minutes – before and during the eruption of their children’s temporary dentition – confirmed a significant decrease in the incidence of demineralization and cavities compared to children whose mothers did not consume it.
As you know, many bacteria can be transmitted from mother to child through the mechanism of vertical transmission. Therefore, the prevention of transmission of cariogenic bacteria (Streptococcus Mutans) from mother to child, during the eruption of baby teeth but also during the postoperative maturation of young tooth enamel, results in the prevention of tooth decay in children.
Chewing gum with xylitol – it’s cheap and you can easily find it online, in pharmacies, or supermarkets – prevents the adhesion of bacteria from tooth enamel and stimulates the natural anti-caries defense mechanisms of saliva!
So dare: 0.7g or 1g of chewing gum consumed twice a day now, protects your baby from tooth decay later!
